For women who left corporate burnout behind

Real people, real stories, making it work outside of corporate.

Ex Corporate Club is a little corner of the internet for people walking away from nine-to-five jobs that keep their nervous system in overdrive, because they believe in a better, more sustainable way to work. We believe in designing work around life, not the other way around.

Jessie, founder of Ex Corporate Club

Hi, I'm Jessie. Here's why this exists.

Real talk: I spent about nine years in corporate tech, grinding away at early-stage startups. And I couldn't shake this nagging feeling that the way I was living just wasn't sustainable, that there had to be something else out there for me. Something that didn't mean being chained to my desk from nine to six, quietly living for the weekend.

Then I fell down a TikTok rabbit hole. All these people who'd quit their jobs, telling their stories. And honestly? That's what gave me the push to finally make the leap myself.

Here's the part I didn't expect. Now when those same videos come across my feed, they hit differently. It's not just inspiration anymore, it's community. Like, hey, you're doing this and I'm doing this. Let's connect and actually talk about how it's going.

I especially love when people get real about the how. The exact income streams they've built, how much they're actually making, what it genuinely takes to live this way, and the trade-offs nobody talks about. It's such a special kind of content.

But here's what's been missing for me: a way to pull everyone out of the comments section of those videos and get them in one room together. So I built it. That's the whole thing.

If any of this sounds like you, come in. I saved you a seat.

Is this you?

If you're nodding at even one of these, you'll fit right in.

The 2pm wall
Successful on paper, quietly running on empty. You keep thinking there has to be another way to do this.
The comment-section rabbit hole
You save every "how I left my 9-5" video and read the comments like a forum. You want in on that conversation.
An idea in the notes app
A business, a freelance leap, a shop, a service. You just need people who get it and stories to learn from.
Already jumped
You left, it's working (mostly), and your story is exactly the one someone else needs to hear right now.

Come share your story. Find your people.
